VarION Plus 700 IQ is a combination sensor for ion selective measurement of Ammonium and Nitrate. For reliable measuring results interferences are automatically compensated. Robust electrodes ensure long service live and easy cleaning.

For measurement just mount the electrodes in the sensor everything else works automatically! Already compensated values are displayed with potassium output as an option. Furthermore the values are directly available for signal output via 0/4- 20 mA signal or digital output (Profibus, Modbus RTU, Ethernet IP, Modbus TCP).

New: measurement of high ammonium load in process water:

Centrate water with a very high ammonium load is produced during sludge dewatering. This water is not drained but either again added to the wastewater cycle or ammonium is directly degraded to elementary Nitrogen (Deammonification). In both cases the determination of ammonium concentration is very important to ensure an optimal process. Now it is possible to measure these high ammonium values (≤ 2.000 mg/l NH4-N) with the sensor Varion plus 700 IQ directly in the medium!
